GARDENER DAYLESFORD ESTATE
A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Gardener to join the renowned organic 2,500-acre Daylesford Estate on the Gloucestershire/Oxfordshire border.
Here at Daylesford, we recognise that future growth and success are shaped by our team’s ambition and looking after our gardens & land is really at the heart of what we are here to do.
Working closely with the Garden team and reporting directly to the Head Gardener and Assistant Head Gardener, this full-time role covers the maintenance of the core estate garden of around 40 acres including glasshouses, cutting garden, orangery, lakes, and walled garden including formal hedges & topiary. The garden is well equipped and has an excellent dedicated team.
You will be required to have a good general knowledge of practical horticulture and experience in using a range of garden machinery to include ride-on and pedestrian mowers, strimmers and hedge cutters, and be professional, resourceful, and enthusiastic.
The package includes a competitive salary, depending upon experience, Company Pension Scheme, private health care and 29 days holiday.
If you would like further information – or if you are interested in applying – then please send your CV (Max 3 pages) and supporting statement (Max 2 pages) to: Daylesford Estate Office, Kingham, OX7 6TF or by email to estate.office@daylesford.co.uk
