Reporting Line: UK Operations Manager
Overview
Greenbelt Group, the UK’s leading land management company, has an exciting new role within our Operations team for a full-time Regional Operations Manager to manage a portfolio of developments and contractors within North East England and South East/Borders area.
Regular travel will be required for the role, including travel to our Leeds office.
Overnight stays are required as part of the role; a full clean UK driving licence is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct, manage and monitor the day-to-day activities of contractors employed by the company to undertake ground works
- Ensure Health and Safety matters on the Company's sites are managed appropriately
- Regularly report on site conditions and standards, being responsible for the management of an effective system of site monitoring
- Produce tender/quote documentation and assist with specifications and service agreements
- Provide effective communication with colleagues, stakeholders, etc
- Assist the Customer Care team with site enquires and ensure a prompt response to Operations-related enquiries
Requirements
- Landscape/land management qualification or transferable skills
- Full clean UK driving licence
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
