The Public Spaces Strategy & Projects Officer will be responsible for the development of medium and long term strategies for the management and improvement of the council’s open spaces and sports and play facilities in line with the Council’s priorities, policies and procedures, including provision for monitoring, reviewing and benchmarking.   

The role will also be responsible for the implementation of projects seeking to improve these assets, including projects included on the Council’s Capital Programme.

The role will report to the Head of Public Spaces will also be required to deputise for the Head of Public Spaces on matters relating strategy and projects and support wider corporate working from time to time.
