Head Gardener with Groundsman / Maintenance Duties

Experienced full time Gardener required for country house estate, comprising Victorian Glasshouse, formal walled garden incorporating kitchen fruit, veg and cut flowers, lawns, mature trees, policies surrounding house and formal parkland of 15 acres.

Duties include maintenance, presentation and creative development of the gardens and parkland with responsibility for the equipment, machinery and resources required in aspects of maintaining the grounds and buildings.

Applicants should have plantsman experience preferably with National Diploma / Higher National Certificate in Horticulture, be a motivated self starter, possessing a full driving licence. Chainsaw certificates, PA01 & PA06, experience of hedge cutting and machinery maintenance desirable.

Competitive salary negotiable and position provides a 3 bedroom lodge house on the estate.
