The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate brings a wealth of experience, having successfully sold into both garden centre groups and independent garden centres for at least 3 years. It's not just about the numbers - our client is looking for a true people person who knows how to build and nurture relationships with customers.

If you thrive on connecting with people, whether it's a large garden centre chain or a small independent shop, and you know how to establish and maintain strong customer relationships you may be the right fit for this position.

Familiarity with the gardening industry is essential. You'll be promoting our client's range, so understanding the products inside out is crucial.

About the Role:

As a Sales Specialist, you'll be the face of our client when interacting with garden centres. Your goal is to build and nurture relationships with these centres, whether they are part of a larger group or independent establishments.

You'll engage in regular communication, understand their needs, and address any concerns promptly. By fostering trust and reliability, you'll ensure that our products have a prominent place in their inventory.

Your primary responsibility is to showcase garden products to potential buyers. This involves product demonstrations, explaining features, and highlighting the benefits.

Numbers matter! You'll have specific sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) to meet.

Your strategy will involve prospecting new clients, following up on leads, and closing deals. Consistent effort and strategic planning are essential.

Remember, as a Sales Specialist, you're not just selling products; you're building lasting partnerships. Your passion for gardening and your ability to connect with people will make all the difference!
