About the Client

Our client is a leading provider of professional media, bark, and fertilisers. As a group they have multiple divisions servicing different sectors of Horticulture. This entity sells into both retailers and professional services including nurseries and growing sectors. This role is purely focusing on the professional services sector, providing professional growing products.

About the Role

In this role you will need to maintain, develop, and grow both existing and new customers of growing media within the Nurseries and growing sector. as well as develop customer sales plans and strategies. A key part of this role will be to carry out planned customer visits to maintain and develop business by promoting our products. There would be a requirement to be on the road for the majority of your time, you will be visiting nurseries and growers to sell a range of products.

The Ideal Candidate

To be right for this role, you will need experience or a solid understanding in the agronomy or growing world, some hands-on nursery experience enabling empathy & connections with growers. An important trait will be the ability to influence and target potential customers, generate leads and enquiries which convert to new business, with a strong commercial background.
