A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, energetic and hard-working Assistant Head Gardener at the renowned organic, 2,500-acre Daylesford Estate on the Gloucestershire/Oxfordshire border.

This is a full-time role working closely with the Garden team and reporting directly to the Head Gardener. You will be assisting with the management and maintenance of the core estate garden which extends to c. 40 acres and includes glasshouses, cutting garden, orangery, lakes, and walled garden including formal hedges & topiary. The garden is well equipped and has an excellent dedicated team.

You will have a formal horticultural qualification & significant post qualification experience – or be able to demonstrate a proven track record in a similar position, and will be professional, resourceful, and enthusiastic.

The package offers a competitive salary, depending upon experience, Company Pension Scheme, private health care and 29 days holiday.
