Head Gardener 

We are fast expanding and looking for an experienced Head gardener with experience of leading a team and managing a garden maintenance ground. 

As a business we work throughout the Essex and London areas, offering professional gardening services to a wide variety of clients. This may include helping clients with an overgrown garden and hedges, weekly or seasonal garden maintenance work or large landscaping projects. 

The ideal candidate should have excellent customer service skills as this role is predominantly in the private/domestic sector. There will also be tasks in soft and hard landscaping if required. 

Requirements:

  • Clean driving license
  • Horticultural qualifications are prefered 
  • Well presented and confident when speaking with clients
  • Strong team management skills
  • Good plant knowledge is prefered 
  • Experience in professional horticulture
  • Attention to detail
  • Taking pride in the work and working on your own initiative
