Due to progression within the company, Ansa are currently recruiting a Parks Development Officer to join an existing team, to support with Park initiatives throughout Cheshire East.

The role will be responsible for:

• Working with the community, Friends Groups and volunteers to ensure best use of parks and open spaces across Cheshire East.
• Maintaining, managing and developing the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective parks and public open spaces on behalf of Ansa’s clients.
• Coordinating the Green Flag application process.
• Supporting the Parks and Recreation manager in maintaining and producing up to date Management Maintenance Plans for parks and greenspaces Assist in the implementation of new strategic open space policy documents.
• Supporting income generation activities such as events and managing concessions with open spaces

In order to apply for this role, you will need:

• Practical experience in park design and/or management
• Experience in working with volunteer and/or community organisations
• To be able to communicate both verbally and in writing at a level appropriate for the audience
• Good communication skills
• The ability and willingness to work flexibly and be able to travel across the Borough as and when required
