Gardener

We are looking for an experienced gardener to join our existing team. This is an exciting and rare opportunity to help implement and manage a new mature garden from scratch. The gardens will consist of herbaceous borders, formal lawn areas, a fully working kitchen garden and cut flower production area that surround a family home and sit within a sprawling parkland setting

The successful applicant will need to have good horticultural knowledge including vegetable production, lawn care both formal and wild flower, a keen eye for topiary and be ready to join our hands on team that is committed to making a first class garden. This will be the perfect job for anyone who loves Horticulture and has a passion for creating beautiful outside spaces.
Responsibilities and Duties:

• Annual maintenance of herbaceous plants, care for various climbers, taking in to account maintaining good horticultural practices and working to a high standard.
• Maintaining Topiary hedges, annual lawn care, assisting with organic vegetable and fruit production including propagation and pruning knowledge.

Successful applicants must have the relevant professional experience, two
references and a clean driving license. All successful applicants will be subject to a DBS check and require relevant working visas. Weekend greenhouse rota is compulsory and no accommodation provided.
