Work Schedule

  • 8 hour shift plus 30 minutes lunch break
  • Monday to Friday are available
  • No weekend work required

The role

We’re looking for a meticulous and proactive maintenance manager. As a key member of the Underleaf team, you’ll oversee all horticultural work to ensure we continue to provide an excellent service. Along with the standard maintenance duties you will be asked to…

  • Oversee the schedule, plan ahead and keep all members of the team up-to-date
  • Manage a small team and have regular catch-ups to ensure everyone’s on track
  • Liaise with clients to make sure they’re happy with the service provided and deal with any ad hoc requests
  • Work with managers to develop our maintenance offer

About you

We’re looking for someone who can join us and hit the ground running, with a positive and proactive attitude. You’ll love working with plants and have an extremely good eye for detail.

 

Ideally you will…

  • Have good horticultural knowledge and ideally a qualification 
  • Good knowledge of indoor plants as well as outdoor plants
  • 3 years practical experience minimum
  • Articulate yourself well and enjoy dealing with people in person and on the phone
  • Good work ethic – happy to work in all weather conditions and physically fit
  • Clean driving license for min 2 years and be comfortable driving in London
  • Naturally take responsibility, proactively solve problems, and get things done quickly
  • Be a self-starter who’s capable of working independently as well as part of a team
