Grounds Estate worker

Live out senior Estate grounds worker.

We have a position for an experienced senior parkland estate worker to become part of a small team.  This is a beautiful private 44-acre parkland estate comprising of formal lawns, hedges, small garden, wooded area, lakes, tennis court, stables and paddocks. 

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and passionate with a good eye for detail, with a helpful and positive attitude, you must work well with others and have a professional and personable personality.  You must be comfortable working on your own or as part of a team.

An understanding and knowledge of bedding plants and gardening, spraying certificate and chainsaw certificates would be advantageous.

This is a fully staffed estate, so communication is incredibly important.  This is a senior position, you will be working closely with the estates manager to ensure the standards for the estate are me

Duties include but not limited to:

• Daily management of ground staff Wide area mowing Hedge cutting Use of a wide range of tools and machinery Formal lawn mowing Garden maintenance Strimming The control of weeds Tractor driving Planting  Sweeping Lake and water feature management Hedging Pruning Weeding Pressure washing

DBS required

Full driving licence
