Do you have Horticulture Management experience and a knowledge of Learning Disabilities?
About our client
Our client is a Garden Centre that is run by a Charity that focuses on assisting adults with Learning Disabilities to acquire skills and qualifications which they can then go on and use later on in life. This centre is a fantastic community hub, and they have a great relationship with all the local customers with their family feel centre.
About the job
Within this role you will be in charge of the day-to-day running of the Garden Centre, you will also have a hand in the future development of the centre. You will also be involved in hands-on day-to-day activities with the adults who attend with Learning Disabilities while also overseeing the staff members/volunteers who are doing this all day.
Ideal candidate
The ideal candidate is someone who has worked with vulnerable people in the past and has a good understanding of how to work with them. On the side of that management skills and horticulture, knowledge is also required as you will be running the Garden Centre. Being an upbeat individual with a dynamic and open mind is a must, along with patience.
