Experienced Gardener for Private Estate

An experienced gardener is required on this busy private estate near Cheltenham.  Hours are negotiable.

The estate has 10 acres of private gardens: mature herbaceous borders, lawns, greenhouses, topiary & hedges, maintenance of water features / pond and 180 acres of woodland / farmland.  Vegetable garden experience an advantage.

This is an exciting opportunity for a professional gardener with drive and work ethic to work alongside our Head Gardener.  An eye for detail is essential, as is the ability to take responsibility, act decisively and being able to turn your hand to most tasks.  A flexible and proactive approach to all estate work is required.

The successful applicant must be self-motivated with the ability and will to work to the highest standards.  Previous gardening experience and a sound knowledge of the countryside is important.  A relevant horticultural qualification is required or equivalent experience.  Also, the integrity to work at a private family home with care and respect.
