About Our Client

Our client provides a comprehensive range of seeds, seedlings, plants, and gardening and floristry kit. They pride ourselves on the quality of our products and trials.

About the Role

You will be joining a busy department where you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient administrative support for the buying team and enabling it to deliver authoritative and distinctive product ranges that inspire our customers, whilst maximising sales and profit contribution.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have good communication, excel and numeracy skills. You will be able to work well with a team, prioritize workload and pay excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

You will be managing the day-to-day communication with suppliers, researching product information, compiling product detail for buying sheets. You will provide support to the category manager in setting up buying sheets each season, requesting quotes from suppliers and collating product information from suppliers and transferring it onto internal systems accurately and with attention to detail. In addition, you will be carrying out scheduled checks of product information in catalogue artworks, to ensure all details are correct.
