About Our client

We're looking for an organised and passionate Strawberry Grower to join an innovative berry grower based just outside of Chichester. Our client grows top-quality soft fruit for the UK's major supermarkets and they need the help of a Strawberry Grower to ensure that the growing process runs smoothly and effectively.

About the Role

To deliver yield & productivity targets and to increase yield and add value to the main processes around all aspects involved in Glasshouse Strawberry soft fruit production. You will have management of daily Irrigation and Fertigation strategies. You will manage all pest and disease identification and conduct regular crop walks, monitoring all settings & growing environments to ensure optimum crop health at all times.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is someone with relevant growing experience in a commercial Glasshouse environment, preferably within soft fruit production. Someone with knowledge and confidence to make independent decisions on a day to day basis and the ability to take responsibility for such decisions is a key requirement.
