A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Gardens Team on the Eaton Estate as a Groundsperson/Gardener. The historically important gardens and landscape surrounding Eaton Hall extends over a considerable area and are meticulously maintained by a dedicated team responsible for individual areas.

The post requires a confident machine operator ideally possessing industry competency tickets (PA1, PA6, strimmer operation, tractor driving) alongside a formal industry qualification (RHS level 2 Horticulture, NCH or diploma).

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' first-hand experience, preferably on a Private Estate where they have utilised their varied landscape and horticulture skills. They should be capable of the physical demands of the role and comfortable/confident to work alone. We seek a self-motivated individual with a flexible approach, an eye for the finer detail and a willingness to learn new skills/techniques.  Occasional weekend duties will be expected.

The successful candidate will join a team responsible for maintaining high presentation standards across the wider landscape of Eaton Hall. Seasonal tasks will include mowing (pedestrian and ride on machines) spraying, tree planting, watering, pruning, weeding and leaf collection.
