Our Client
Our client is a diverse farm, boasting various revenue streams. Growing a variety of fruits from apples to raspberries, and everything in between. Producing class 1 fruit which is handpicked for various supermarkets. Our client is a large farm, employing approximately 250 seasonal workers.

About the Role
As a Labour Operations Manager, responsibilities include maintaining high standards of planned harvesting, husbandry, and all other seasonal work, whilst working to ensure maximum worker efficiency and meeting company budgets. Communicating effectively with other members of the management structure and supervision team is a key aspect of this role, ensuring high standards and creating a positive work environment. Delivering relevant training of company procedures to seasonal workers and supervisors, whilst monitoring attendance and performance management.

The Candidate
Our client is looking for a candidate who has proven people management experience, has strong interpersonal and organisational abilities. The candidate also needs to have a professional attitude and approach to work, with a keen eye for detail. We are open to looking at people from a variety of backgrounds, whether it be on farm, packhouse or warehouse but an understand of fresh produce is desired. This is a permanent role with hours varying during busy peak periods. Therefore the candidate needs to be happy to work longer hours when required.
