Are you a Gardener who is passionate about conservation and preservation? Do you have experience working with historic gardens....Then we want to meet you!

Our Grade ll historic gardens within the beautiful Dartington grounds boast a range of stunning features with beautiful vistas and creative sculptures, including ancient trees and impressive plant species. We are looking for a skilled gardener to join the team and help maintain and develop these special grounds.

You will enjoy engaging with our team of volunteers and students, and contributing to projects across our estate. You will bring knowledge of plants and horticultural machinery, the ability to communicate with internal and external customers, and a good understanding of Dartington’s purpose, values and strategy. 

Supporting the Head Gardener and wider team, you'll help create a progressive and innovative strategy that remains respectful of Dartington Gardens history and legacy.  You will also support the implementation of the Conservation Management Plan and successful delivery of partnerships with external organisations such as the Royal Horticultural Society.
