Head Gardener

Experienced Head Gardener immediately required to oversee and manage the gardens and grounds at a private country Estate in County Durham.

The gardens comprise extensive lawns, an orchard, vegetable, fruit and flower gardens, glass houses and extensive aged and decorative topiary.

The successful applicant must have relevant experience (five years plus in a similar role on a private estate would be preferred), expertise and a strong work ethic.

They must be self-motivated with the ability to work alone and manage a team. This role suits someone looking for a long-term position with a passion to create and maintain some very special private grounds. They will be generously supported throughout.

On site accommodation can be provided and applicants must hold a valid driving licence
