As Horticulture Assistant Manager, you will be focused on ensuring the outdoor plant area is of the highest standard. You will be excited about providing excellent customer service and encouraging the team around you to do the same. You will have a keen interest and career-focused experience in Horticulture as this role will give you the autonomy to source and buy plants directly from suppliers with guidance from the Horticulture Manager. Your passion for horticulture will be evident, and you will be able to use this to offer advice to customers, create excellent displays and maintain stock.The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a garden centre environment and be looking for a new challenge, we will also consider recently graduated candidates with a Horticulture focused qualification. You will be confident in running a small team and can train, develop, and motivate the people around you. You will have a commercial mind, understand stock control methods, increase add-on sales, and acknowledge areas of improvement within the plant area.How to Apply
