Are you an experienced horticulture professional with a background in sales to the amenity sector? If so, this could be the role for you
Salary ~£30-40k DOE

About Our Client
Our client is a renowned brand within the horticulture industry. Their team is made up of a group of passionate horticulturists who take pride in the quality products and services that they offer their customers. They offer British grown products from their nurseries and have a great amount of credibility and history in the sector. They are regular gold medal winners at RHS Chelsea for example. They are one of the UK's largest growers and offer a variety of products across different channels and services, including contract growing.

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to represent a renowned horticulture brand in the amenity sector. You will join a team that is dedicated to delivering an outstanding customer experience and will help them grow their presence further. You will form part of the senior sales team to help deliver additional sales and drive business growth. You will take responsibility for some existing customer accounts to drive YOY growth and achieve sales budgets. You will also hunt out new sales opportunities and help deliver new contracts and business. You will build long term relationships with key customers, including landscape architects, contractors, builders etc. You will manage projects and contracts with the customers and ensure a first-rate service offering the products that best serve their requirements.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in the amenity channel and a strong background in the horticulture sector. You will be a strong rapport builder and have a proven track record of developing long term relationships that drive commercial results. You will be able to deliver new business and contracts and be comfortable hunting for new business. You will be a strong team player, possess a positive attitude and be willing to get hands-on.

Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, as a minimum, you will need to possess some knowledge and understanding of the horticulture and or amenity sector. You will need to be passionate about delivering an excellent service, be able to drive commercial results and have a great attitude. You will also need to be able to drive and travel to see different customers.
