Applications are invited for the position of Lecturer in Horticulture. The successful candidate will blend a thorough knowledge of the Horticulture industry and its future education and training needs, with experience of teaching, course organisation and course development in a higher education setting. There may additionally be opportunities to develop research, consultancy and scholarly activity in the programme areas
The successful applicant should have a relevant PhD degree or research equivalent qualification in horticulture or a related subject. Experience of teaching in a higher education setting is essential.
They will be a team player with well-developed communication and networking skills and possess an ability to work in partnership with outside organisations. With sound practical knowledge the successful candidate should have the ability to teach modules in a variety of aspects of the Horticulture industry.
This is a permanent, full-time post.
