About the Client

Selling a range of high-end garden retail products including decorative ceramics, furniture and tabletop decorations, this client is looking for a Sales manager to lead and develop the commercial arm of the business. With offices based in Northampton as well as a separate showroom in Buckinghamshire they look to service the whole of the UK across a range of chain and independent retailers.

About the Role

This role is a sales manager role where you will be required to oversee the sales side of the business. Creating strategies and plans to bring in new customers as well as nurturing and repeat selling to existing ones. Currently the sales are looked after by a range of sales reps, who you will be responsible for. A solid knowledge of the industry and a 'black book' of contacts will be needed to ensure you can add value from the get-go.

The Ideal Candidate

To be considered for this role you must have a strong sales background, understanding the high-end market and the importance of correct product placement. The ability to influence decision makers and generate sales is a must as well as being able to prepare and plan your schedule to maximise results. Being able to lead a team will be essential, with good communication skills and a hard-working attitude.
