Burford Garden Company is an independent family run business. We employ people with a passion for customer service. The ideal candidate for this position will have previous supervisory or management experience in a customer-facing environment.
Assisting the Department Manager, and deputising in their absence, you will possess strong leadership and communication skills, and have an enthusiastic and positive outlook. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to organise, prioritise and delegate tasks in a fast-paced setting, always delivering superb customer service. Gardening and horticultural knowledge would be an advantage but is not essential.
You will need to show us that you have an eye for detail, and excellent creative merchandising skills, as well as having extremely high standards in relation to stock presentation.
This is a full-time position and will require weekend working, generally on an alternate weekend basis.
