Stevenage residents enjoy an impressive offering of green spaces, with a wide variety of habitats, and take pride in the town’s parks, open spaces, woodlands and recreation facilities.
The post holder will join our professional, friendly and highly committed team in managing a wide range of green space related activity, including delivery of the biodiversity / climate change initiatives, the supervision and development of volunteers, and delivery of improvements to enhance our local environment.
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic person to play a key role in the development of some of Stevenage’s prestigious green spaces. If you have a proven track record of developing green spaces for people and wildlife, experience of leading environmental volunteers and community groups, possess excellent communication skills, and enjoy working with a wide range of people we would like to hear from you.
