With a fine pedigree and a fantastic team of industry experts, they work with a variety of industry-leading partners covering a whole range of different skills (including, civils, mechanical, electrical, irrigation, structural). The business has grown from strength to strength and experienced a record-breaking 2020.

As part of the business growth, we are looking to further strengthen our technical team, ensuring we can understand our clients' requirements and can translate them into specifications that can be designed and built. Specifically in this instance, with the addition of a glasshouse specialist.



About the Role

In this role, you will be leading the design of commercial glasshouse projects across the UK. Your past horticulture knowledge will put you in a perfect position to understand client's needs and be able to consult and advise accordingly. Using your professional wisdom, you will be able to support in creating the most state-of-the-art facility, focussing on balancing cost and yield potential. You will help to design and plan out installations ensuring that the best solution is cost-effective. You will translate the project from concept through to delivery, working closely with the engineering teams to manage the vision for the project.



The Ideal Candidate

This fantastic opportunity is suited to a self-motivated individual with a passion for horticulture. You will have previous experience in a glasshouse environment, either hands-on growing quality crops or working on projects within glasshouses. You will have an interest (and ideally knowledge) in new technology, and a desire to grow high yielding crops at the best cost. Communication skills are key, as you will be required to work closely with project managers and clients. This role will see you travelling and consulting across the UK, so flexibility to travel is essential.
