Area Sales Manager | Horticulture | Central England Salary - £35k to £45k About Our client:-
We are working with a successful and highly sought after business who supply some innovative products to the Garden Centres. Due to the opportunities available to them, they need to strengthen their commercial team in order to push their products out to as many avenues as possible. You will have a lot of autonomy to manage your area in a way that you see fit and that will deliver the best results to the business. About the Role:-
You will manage a large area and ensure that the garden centres and other relevant retailers are aware of the company and the full range of products they can supply.
You will need to visit head office occasionally to ensure you understand the culture of the business and have the best possible chances to succeed.
Working closely with the Senior Team, you will have direct contact to ensure you have all possible sales tools at your disposal. The Ideal Candidate:-
You will have a good understanding of the horticultural sector (fertiliser and growing medium would be an advantage), in particular selling in to Garden Centres of all size.
Area sales experience will be important but understanding account management techniques is crucial as well.
Clear and effective communication is essential, especially being based in your own area, albeit with support from Head Office. Crucial for the business to understand what you have done, but also for you to know you have the support you need. How to Apply:-
