We are working with a successful and well-established garden centre that has been running for over 50 years.

About our Client

The company are a busy garden centre situated on the outskirts of Leeds and pride themselves on providing expert knowledge to their customers. Equipped with a strong plant area, farm shop and catering areas, this garden centre is not one to miss.



About the Role

Managing the plant department will see you being responsible for a small team, ensuring that the customer experience is everyone's priority. It is their aim to proving an excellent lasting impression with their customers, which will come through friendly interactions and expert knowledge. You will be supporting in stock control, creating excellent displays, and ensuring the plant area is kept clean and tidy.



The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone with experience in a horticulture environment before, with the capability to pass on advice to both colleagues and customers. Strong communication skills are key, as this will form a huge part of the role. Good physical fitness is required as the position will involve working on your feet for extended periods of time and may involve some heavy lifting.
