Offering a range of diverse and large collection of plants throughout all seasons alongside a wide selection of homeware, pet care and gifting products. This centre is based in Southwest London and offers a high-end shopping experience for customers daily. Sustainability is high on this client's agenda and continue to find ways to help the local surroundings.

About the Role

This role is for an Assistant Garden Centre Manager to come and join the Garden Centre team. Responsibilities in this role will involve overseeing the operational part of the centre, working closely with the General Manager, as well as building relationships with suppliers. Customer service is a key part of this role, being able to support and advise customers throughout the day. One key aspect of this role is that there is real potential for the right candidate to take over the running of the centre as early as next year due to internal restructures, so progress is real.

The Ideal Candidate

To be considered for this role, you will need to have a strong garden retail background, as well as previous experience in store management. An interest and knowledge in the plant and horticulture side of the centre will be needed. You will need to be a good leader, with solid communication skills and the ability to work in a challenging, fast paced environment.
