About the Role

This role is all about delivering the best service to customers in the Hardy plant and horticulture area of the garden centre. You will utilise your Hardy plant and horti knowledge to guide customers through their buying experience in your section. You will help deliver sales and commercial results in the process and keep customers coming back for repeat business. Your friendly and approachable manner will lend itself to customer service and delivering the best possible customer experience.



The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will come from a hardy plants and horticulture focused role within the garden centre sector. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to lead customers to products that are most appropriate for their requirements and increase add-on sales. You will have some plant and gardening knowledge to build upon. You will be able to offer care to the plants in your section of the garden centre and ensure plants are well watered and disease and pest free.



Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this role, as a minimum, you will need to have experience in the horticulture industry/sector with some good hardy plant knowledge as well as customer-facing experience where you have delivered excellent service.
