Job Description

East Riding Horticulture is looking for a Area Sales Representative for its Horticulture division who is focused, driven, and passionate to join a strong family-based business.

Responsibilities

• Building long term relationships with existing customers
• Generating new customers through actively pursuing cold, warm, and qualified leads
• Inform customers of the wide range of products East Riding Horticulture can supply
• Answering customer questions and queries where necessary to make sure that the customer has everything they require
• Analyse the market by tracking sales, highlighting customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
• Keep abreast with the latest practices, products, and promotional trends

Essential Skills

• Interest in Horticulture and Plants
• Sales experience
• Must be computer literate (can use Excel and experience with an ERP software)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Highly Organised
• Self Driven and can work as part of a larger team
• Full Clean driving License
• Motivated to learn
