About our Client

Our client is the UK's largest alpine grower who is now looking to build its maintenance team. They are a leading supplier of plants to UK retailers and independent garden centres. They grow and supply a wide variety of quality plants, including shrubs, perennials, and bedding. They have invested in their business and facilities to be able to produce the best quality products for their customers.



About the Role

Working with a small team, you will be responsible for all the maintenance across various growing sites, including glasshouses, vehicles, and irrigation systems. You will be involved in planning, and implementing work across these sites, and working with the team around you to ensure these plans are done efficiently. You will ensure the equipment is checked regularly and complies with all health and safety procedures.



The Ideal Candidate

Ideally, you will have worked in a horticultural environment and understand the pressures of a busy commercial nursery. You will be confident in working with a variety of different machinery and equipment. Attention to detail is key, as you will be maintaining, and installing new equipment.
