About the Role

In this role you will need to maintain, develop, and grow both existing and new customers of Perennial Plug & Liners within the wholesale business unit, as well as develop customer sales plans and strategies. A key part of this role will be to carry out planned customer visits to maintain and develop business by promoting our products. There would be a requirement to be on the road approx. 3+ days per week including regular overnight stays to maximise the working day. An exciting aspect will involve attending and participating in key trade shows and events within the UK and Europe throughout the year.

The Ideal Candidate

To be right for this role, you will need experience in the hardy nursery stock sector (Shrubs, Perennials & Grasses), some hands-on nursery experience enabling empathy & connections with growers. Plus, experience of account management. An important trait will be the ability to influence and target potential customers, generate leads and enquiries which convert to new business. As well as being a strong communicator, confident and engaging.
