About our Client

Our client has been going from strength to strength since they were first established in the 1970s and have grown to over 30 acres, which now includes glasshouses, polytunnels and an outdoor growing area. This is an exciting time to join the business as they continue to grow and establish themselves as a major player in the horticulture industry.



About the Role

As Lead Propagator, you will be responsible for ensuring that all propagation is done in a timely manner, to the highest standards. You will be responsible for planning on a daily and weekly basis, monitoring cutting materials and seed sowing. You will be able to assess cultural needs, including trimming, feeding, and watering. Attention to detail is important, as you will be ensuring paperwork is up to date and complaint.



The Ideal Candidate

You will have previous experience in, and a passion for propagation. You will be a strong communicator, able to communicate plans and deadlines and motivate the team around you. You will have previously worked in a commercial horticulture environment and ideally, have a qualification in horticulture.
