About the role

We are looking for a Team Leader with a passion for grounds maintenance to join our Exmouth Town & Seafront team working Wednesday to Sunday inclusive. Working alongside the cleansing Team Leader, you will co-ordinate the grounds maintenance activities in the assigned area primarily responsible for maintaining all types of plants such as flowers, trees, shrubs and lawns in a variety of green spaces including public parks, gardens, and sports grounds as assigned by the service. In addition, you will also be expected to work collaboratively with other teams across both cleansing and grounds maintenance activities and any other operational demand undertaken by Streetscene as required. You will need to be an experienced, enthusiastic qualified gardener. A formal Horticultural qualification such as NVQ2, RHS level 2 or equivalent demonstrable horticultural knowledge is essential and you will need to be able to work seasonal hours.
