To assist the Departmental Director in the pricing of soft and hard landscape projects.

Communication  You will communicate clearly and positively with all parties including the customer, meeting department targets and deadlines. You will complete all necessary paperwork in a concise and transparent manner.  

Quantification and estimating  You will accurately set up the estimate files, download necessary documents, measure drawings and sites if need be and produce clear tender documents for pricing purposes which reflect the requirements of the client and any specifications or other technical information.

Estimating  You will accurately price tenders and ensure deadlines are met.  You will assess and price the most efficient ways of carrying out a task or project to ensure the company remains competitive. You will offer where appropriate alternative methods and prices which may offer the company a competitive advantage. You will be responsible for revisions and document control.

Financial  You will have joint responsibility with the Regional Director for the financial performance of the estimating department.  You will closely monitor all the prices of materials etc. so these are reflected accurately within the pricing of the works.  You will be responsible for setting up material orders/contract grow upon award of the contract. You will review operational feedback and alter future prices and outputs as appropriate. 

Quality  You will ensure that all tender returns are submitted in accordance with the companies procedures and are accurate and clearly presented. You will also be involved in the auditing of installed works checking for drawing replication accuracy, quality of plants and installation.
