We are working with a new and innovative business that is looking for a grower to join their brand-new vertical farming site.



About our Client

Our client is in the process of building a state-of-the-art vertical farm that will specialise in growing herbs and leafy greens. They are a forward-thinking business, looking into the future of fresh produce growing and the sustainability around this.



About the Role

This is a very exciting role that will see the person taking charge of the crop production on the farm. You will be responsible for maintaining growth conditions, analysing growing media and crop walking. You will monitor the day to day running of the farm, from sowing the seed, to harvest, to packing the product. You will also look at crop trials within the farm and trial growing different crops, then evaluate the success of this.



The Ideal Candidate

You will have previous experience in working in a commercial glasshouse environment, but we are open to what crop you will have worked with previously. You will be ambitious, confident in working in a small team and have a passion for growing high-quality crops. You will be interested in vertical farming and running trials.
