Horticulture Team Leader | Nr Northwich

We are working with a family run business that is looking for a Supervisor to join the team.


About the Business
Our client is an ornamental plant nursery in Cheshire. Established over 100 years ago, this family-run business has experienced significant growth whilst keeping its traditional values at heart. They specialise in garden plant production including perennials and bedding plants on their 8-acre site.


About the Role
You will be working closely with the senior grower to support the growing of high-quality stock. You will be crop walking, irrigating, weeding, and monitoring for pests and diseases. You will be leading a small team of people, and work in other areas of the business including quality control, packing, and taking in deliveries.


The Ideal Candidate
This role is ideal for someone that has previously worked in a commercial nursery environment and is looking to take a step up. You will love working within horticulture and be keen to expand your knowledge, whilst also supporting a small team around you. Ideally, you will hold your PA1 and PA6.
