It ensures Army veterans are provided with the support and comradeship they need in recognition of their service to the Nation and safeguards their historic home for the veterans of tomorrow.
We are currently recruiting for a Deputy Grounds & Gardens Manager to join our Grounds team to manage the grounds and gardens to a very high standard for the enjoyment of our visitors and Chelsea Pensioners.
The successful candidate will deputize for and assist the Grounds & Gardens Manager so must have proven experience in delivering appropriate direction, motivation, guidance, and support to a team.
Duties will also include tasks such as pruning, planting, weeding, and carrying out work on the Bowling Green and other turf areas if required to do so. The successful candidate must be competent in the use, maintenance, and H&S issues of a wide range of horticultural machinery and tools.
