We are delighted to be working with a well-established, successful nursery who are looking for a General Manager to join the team.


About the Client
Our client was established nearly 50 years ago and grow plants on over 100 acres. They supply top quality plants to garden centres, DIY chains and supermarkets. Our client has industry-leading facilities at their site, designed to use the latest technology. They pride themselves in putting an emphasis on ensuring an environmentally conscious production and dispatch.

About the Role
As the General Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the production and operations on site. You will be leading, and managing the production, organising, and implementation of key aspects within the business. Recruitment of new staff, health and safety and planning will all fall into your remit. You will be passionate about growing top quality plants and providing the best customer service.

The Ideal Candidate
You will have worked within a horticulture environment before and be confident in the production of high-quality plants. Ideally, you will have worked with similar plants before but we are also happy to consider someone who has worked with soft fruit. You will be a confident leader, with the ability to motivate, mention and support the team around you. The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator with everyone involved in the operation.
