Farm Operations Manager | East Anglia

We are excited to be working with a leading fresh produce business who are looking for a driven Farm Operations Manager to join their team.



About our Client

They are a second-generation, family-run business that has grown to be one of the UK's leading fruit growers. They grow fruit at their site, but also important exotic fruit from abroad. They have specialist plant breeders and use the latest growing techniques and technology to drive an environmentally friendly approach to growing.



About the Role

You will be responsible for a large team to ensure the farming operation runs efficiently and profitably. You will be a vital member of the Farming team and have overall responsibility for the harvesting of all crops, ensuring that the team are working collaboratively. You will be responsible for labour planning and promoting a safe place to work.



The Ideal Candidate

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has worked in a Farm / Harvest management level before. Ideally, you will have worked with soft fruit, but we will also look at a candidate with a background in fresh produce. You will be a confident communicator, and comfortable running large teams. You will be able to work under pressure and in fast-paced environments.
