Job Details
We are working with a family run business who are looking for a Supervisor to join the team.
About the Business
Our client is an ornamental plant nursery in Cheshire. Established over 100 years ago, this family-run business has experienced significant growth whilst keeping its traditional values at heart. They specialise in garden plant production including perennials and bedding plants on their 8-acre site.
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for supervising a production team to ensure all staff remain motivated and are working efficiently. You will be responsible for checking and sorting the incoming young plant material and organising the young plants material and matching care cards. You will also be responsible for making sure the transplanting lines are running efficiently
The Ideal Candidate
You will have had experience working in a commercial horticulture environment. You will be a strong communicator and be confident in managing a team of people.
