Gardener Wanted For Private Estate
Qualified and enthusiastic horticulturalist wanted for large, historic property near Godalming, Surrey.

Skills Required:

• Experience of general garden maintenance, for example weeding, pruning, planting, application of herbicides, propagation, lawn care, pest control, fruit and vegetable production etc. Use of hedge trimmer, strimmer, lawnmower etc also required.
• Sound plant knowledge, with a desire to learn more, would be a distinct advantage.
• An ability to work unsupervised and to manage one’s own workloads would be an asset, as would the ability to work as part of a team as workloads dictate, under the direction of the Head Gardener.
• Chainsaw ticket and spraying license highly desirable, but training to qualification can be given.
