Salary: £23,826 – £24,789

Vision Redbridge Culture and Leisure (Vision) is a registered charity that manages a wide range of facilities and services on behalf of the London Borough of Redbridge including: Leisure Facilities, Sport & Health, Libraries, Redbridge Museum, Parks and Open Spaces, Arts, Events and Halls Lettings.

We are currently looking to recruit to an exciting new position within the Parks and Open Spaces service. We are looking a proven leader, with great attention to detail and the ability to plan and schedule works. 

The successful candidate will have significant experience in the supervision of grounds teams, preferably in both Grounds Maintenance and Parks Operations 

This is a terrific opportunity to play a major role in the continued development of a key site in the borough.

You will be expected to develop, implement and review plans for each season of the year, paying special attention to the specific needs of a site used heavily by the borough’s residents. 

•    Able to demonstrate the highest level of horticultural knowledge

•    Have a real interest in providing exceptional green space for residents

•    Be pro-active and committed to leading a team

•    High level of strategic planning and organisational skills 

•    Have a good understanding of health and safety

The role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills, who can develop and maintain good working relationships with existing grounds teams.
