We are excited to be working with a successful company producing biological controls, who are now looking for a Technical Sales Specialist to join their team.



The Business

Our client is a global company, producing biological controls which are used to control Pest and Diseases in a wide number of crops. They are producers of beneficial insects and mites and focus mainly on high-value crops such as vegetables, fruit, and flowers. They are now looking for an experienced Technical Sales Specialist to join the team.



The Role

In this role, you will be working closely with customers, providing them with technical information about products, and then selling the products accordingly. You will be responsible for supporting the creation and implementation of successful IPM programmes in a wide range of horticultural crops. Technical advice, customer visits, sales, forecasting and product launches will all fall into your remit.



You

You will have experience within the horticulture industry, whether it be agronomy, commercial horticulture, or biocontrol. You will have a good knowledge of crop protection, and integrated crop management. Ideally, you will have BASIS and FACTS qualifications. You'll be confident in working with a team and independently and be able to communicate with internal departments and external stakeholders. This is a home-based opportunity, but you will be required to travel nationally on a regular basis to meet customers, and occasionally internationally.
