We are looking for a FACTS and BASIS qualified agronomist to join one of the UK's leading soft and stone fruit producers.

Our client is a market-leading fresh produce company who are growing from strength to strength. They work with growers across the UK to ensure that their customers are provided with top-quality produce all year round.

The Role

You will be regularly liaising with your client base to ensure all growers are growing the highest quality fruit. You will support them with crop production planning and performance benchmarking, as well as providing recommendations for fertigation, crop husbandry and irrigation. You will be confident in plant health testing and taking samples of soil and leaves as appropriate.

You

You will have your FACTS and BASIS qualifications. Ideally, you will have agronomy experience within the soft fruit industry or be willing to learn the aspects of soft fruit growing. You will be a strong communicator, as you will be required to regularly go to site and meet the growers. There will be travelling involved in the role, so you must be comfortable doing this.
