HTS (Property & Environment) Ltd provides housing repairs & maintenance and environmental services for the tenants and residents of Harlow.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to work in our Parks and Landscapes section. You will be responsible for the daily staff management and the supervision of all grounds maintenance works, ensuring the high standards of service and departmental Performance Indicators are achieved, as set out by our client the Harlow District Council. You will plan and organise work for your team in accordance with health and safety policies and procedures. In addition, you will ensure that all equipment is used efficiently and effectively, and that vehicles, plant and machinery are maintained in good conditions by conducting regular inspections.
It is essential that you can work equally well within a team and on your own, and that you can use your own initiative, for example identify opportunities for landscape improvements and bring them to attention of Landscape Officers in Harlow District Council. Good IT skills are essential (e.g. Microsoft Office). You will be responsible for accurate recording and maintaining of work, staff, health & safety and expenditure records. A full valid UK driving licence is also essential as you will be required to attend different locations within Harlow.
We offer 30 days` annual leave, raising to 31 days after 5 years, plus bank holidays and a Local Government Pension Scheme.
