The 9 acre garden is full of beautiful plants and sits within 50 acres of wider parkland and woodland.  Having recently undergone major improvement, it includes a new design for the historic walled and wider garden areas by Tom Stuart-Smith, and the on-going development of a productive garden and flower cutting area with Sarah Raven.

Set within a stunning landscape, the Garden includes the Walled Garden with both productive and ornamental areas and a restored Glasshouse. Around the house there are beautifully planted compartmentalised spaces with perennials, shrubs, roses and hedges. Beyond the house a woodland garden leads to the parkland with wonderful views.

The role requires a highly competent and experienced professional gardener who is able to work with and support the owner the designer’s vision to achieve the high standards and beautiful presentation required.

Whilst the garden is under development resources will continue to be re-evaluated as the remit of the garden continues to change. The Head Gardener will lead a team of 4 FT gardeners.

The garden is not open to the public.

An excellent package reflecting PGG 2020 salary guidelines, with a delightful two-bedroom cottage provided on a neighbouring estate close by.
