Senior Grower Supervisor

Are you a passionate Soft Fruit Grower looking to take the next step up? We are excited to be working with one of the UK's leading soft fruit growers, who grow across numerous sites in the South of England. They are looking for a Grower Supervisor to join their successful business. The role will be based at their site in either Surrey or Berkshire.

The Role:

Reporting into the Assistant Farm Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of the farm. As a supervisor, you will ensure all staff are set up for the day and working efficiently. You will also be responsible for all crop husbandry tasks, to ensure you are growing the best berries possible. Pest and disease monitoring, crop walking, and irrigation will all fall into your remit. You will make sure all health and safety policies are adhered too, and all glasshouse environments are maintained.

You:

We are looking for someone who has had previous experience working in a large-scale horticulture environment. Ideally, you will have worked with soft fruit in the past, but if not, you will have experience in another form of protected crops. You will be a confident grower and can drive and motivate a team.
